The Elders’ Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara Central and the chairmen of the four local government areas in the senatorial district have commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his sustained efforts in safeguarding the state from criminal activities.
In a communiqué issued at the end of a strategic meeting held in Ilorin on Wednesday, the caucus and council chairmen praised the governor’s proactive measures in strengthening security across the state. The communiqué was jointly signed by the Chairman of the Kwara Central APC Elders’ Caucus, Alhaji Mustapha Kobe, and the Coordinator, Alhaji Razaq Lawal.
The APC leaders expressed particular satisfaction with the planned recruitment of 2,600 forest guards, describing it as a decisive step toward protecting communities and rural settlements.
Beyond security, the caucus and chairmen applauded AbdulRazaq’s wide-ranging developmental strides in infrastructure, health, and education, noting that his unprecedented achievements have continued to endear the APC to the people of Kwara ahead of the 2027 general elections.
They also commended the council chairmen in Kwara Central — Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin East, and Ilorin South — for complementing the governor’s security initiatives and for ensuring residents live in peace and harmony.
The elders further lauded the council bosses for mobilizing their communities to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise, stressing that such efforts are crucial for strengthening democracy and consolidating the party’s electoral advantage.
