The National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) is pleased to announce that the Tinubu Light Initiative (TLI) Portal is now live, providing eligible businesses across Nigeria with access to affordable, sustainable and reliable solar energy solutions.

The initiative is designed to support businesses in addressing the challenges associated with energy costs and unreliable power supply, while improving productivity, operational efficiency and business sustainability.

Through the TLI digital portal, eligible business owners can conveniently assess their energy requirements, receive recommendations for suitable solar energy packages, submit applications and track the progress of their applications online.

The Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of NBTI, Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, FCIPM (UK), FPMA (UK), urged eligible business owners across the country to take advantage of the initiative, describing access to affordable and sustainable energy as critical to the growth and competitiveness of Nigerian enterprises.

According to him, the Tinubu Light Initiative reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for businesses, particularly through interventions that reduce operating costs, promote clean energy adoption and strengthen the productivity of enterprises.

Dr. Raji encouraged business owners to access the portal through the NBTI website by visiting www.nbti.gov.ng and clicking on “Tinubu Light”, or directly through https://tinubulight.ng/.

He further advised applicants to provide accurate information and complete the application process through the designated digital platform.

“The Tinubu Light Initiative is an important intervention aimed at helping Nigerian businesses overcome one of their most critical operational challenges—access to affordable and reliable energy. We encourage eligible businesses to take advantage of this opportunity to reduce their energy costs, improve productivity and build more sustainable enterprises.”

The NBTI remains committed to supporting technology-driven enterprise development and facilitating access to innovative solutions that contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth and sustainable development.
