In a heartfelt message to mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, Prince Felix Kolade Ojo, the Secretary of Saki West Local Government Area and the Political Head of Asabari Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has extended his warm greetings to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde, as well as to the people of Asabari LCDA and the entire Muslim community in Oyo State.
Prince Ojo’s message, which was delivered to mark the commencement of Ramadan, underscores the significance of this blessed period as a time for deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and the promotion of unity within the community. In his statement, he encouraged all residents to embrace the values of peace, love, and charity that the month represents.
“Ramadan is a sacred time that calls on us to reflect deeply on our actions and strengthen our faith. As we fast and pray, let us remember those less fortunate and show kindness and generosity to our fellow man. This month is an opportunity for us to renew our commitment to peace and harmony, not only within our homes but also in our communities and our state,” Prince Ojo said.
The Secretary of Saki West LGA and Head of Asabari LCDA also expressed his deep appreciation for the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, praising his unwavering commitment to the development of Oyo State and the well-being of its citizens. He called on the people of Asabari LCDA to continue to support the governor in his efforts to advance the state’s progress and prosperity.
“I also wish to recognize the steadfast leadership of our Governor, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde. His dedication to the advancement of Oyo State has continued to bring about remarkable changes in our lives. We pray that Almighty Allah grants him continued wisdom and strength to lead us to greater heights,” Prince Ojo added.
In his closing remarks, Prince Ojo encouraged residents of Asabari LCDA and all Muslims across the state to seize the opportunity of this Ramadan to support one another, practice charity, and uplift their neighbors. He also urged all to remember the nation and its leaders in prayers, asking for divine guidance and protection.
“May this Ramadan bring peace, joy, and prosperity to our homes, our communities, and our beloved state of Oyo. Let us all come together to pray for the continued progress of our Local Government Area, the state of Oyo, and our great nation. Ramadan Kareem to all,” Prince Ojo concluded.
