The National Forum of PDP Youth Leaders has extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected members of the National Executive Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), following the successful national convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In a statement released on behalf of the Forum, the Chairman, Comrade Seyi Bamidele, described the emergence of the new National Executive as “a renewed opportunity to reposition the party, deepen internal democracy, and strengthen the PDP as the most credible platform for national redemption.”
The Forum expressed particular delight with the emergence of Comrade Umar Dan Aji as the new National Youth Leader, noting that his track record of commitment, vibrancy, and bridge-building within the party makes him a fitting choice to lead the youth constituency at this crucial moment.
“Comrade Umar Dan Aji represents the resilience, intellect, and progressive spirit of PDP youths across the federation. The Forum stands firmly behind him and assures him of absolute cooperation, solidarity, and strategic partnership as he assumes this vital leadership responsibility,” the statement read.
Comrade Seyi Bamidele further emphasized that the Forum is prepared to work closely with the new leadership to mobilize young people nationwide, strengthen grassroots engagement, and promote unity within the party.
He assured the National Executive of the Forum’s readiness to contribute constructively toward rebuilding the PDP into a stronger, more cohesive, and youth-inclusive institution.
The Forum also commended delegates, stakeholders, and leaders of thought whose commitment ensured a peaceful and successful convention, describing it as a testament to the PDP’s enduring democratic values.
